Greg pursued a career in building, learning all facets of construction, later moving to California where he partnered with a friend to start a General Contracting company.
2006 saw a change of direction for Greg when he learned about the many benefits of Industrial Hemp and it's applications, particularly in regard to construction, to reduce the CO2 emitted from mineral based building products and to increase indoor air quality.
In 2008 Greg co-founded Hemp Technologies (USA) Inc. in Asheville, NC, to build healthy, energy saving homes with Hemp+Lime.
Greg is a qualified Chef, plays Scottish BagPipes and enjoys golf, tennis and fishing.

Business Development

Anndrea Hermann is from Joplin, Missouri and graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 2002 with a B.GS in Economics focusing on hemp. She acquired an internship with the Parkland Industrial Hemp Growers in the summer of 2001 and in late 2003, Anndrea was selected as a Manitoban Provincial Nominee under the Unique Skilled Worker Program (Hemp Technician) in which, she became a Canadian landed immigrate and permanent resident in 2004. In August of 2008 she completed a Masters of Science in hemp fibre agronomy at the University of Manitoba. She has authored articles, book chapters and industry reviews.
With 15 years experience in the Canadian & International Hemp Cannabis industry, she has a wide range of interdisciplinary skills: Hemp Fibre & Seed Agronomy, Hemp Field Trials & Crop THC Sampling, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Certifications and Licensing, Client to Client Connections, Hemp Building Applications, Project Analysis, Body care, Fashion, Food and so much more….
Anndrea owns The Ridge International Cannabis Consulting, partner Hemp-Technologies (Hempcrete building), and formally was the Marketing, Sales Account Manager & Agrologist for Hemp Oil Canada Inc, (primary contractor, processor and supplier of Canadian hemp foods) . She is an Independent Professional Agrologist and researcher, President Elect Hemp Industries Association, Special Committee Member (Former VP, Science Officer and Interim Executive Director) the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance, and Director Manitoba Organic Alliance, a board advisor to Vote Hemp Inc. (USA) the Industrial Hemp Association of Queensland and Victoria, NSW in Australia, Hemp Now of South Africa, member of the European Industrial Hemp Association and the International Hemp Building Association. She is an Authorized THC sampler and assists with a wide range of interdisciplinary Cannabis related projects. Anndrea continues to share her experiences in the areas of hemp cultivation, processing, regulations and networking (all things hemp). In 2011, Anndrea was selected as A Champion of the New Rural Economy in Manitoba, Canada.
Her background includes over 15 years of promoting hemp in the USA and 11 years of experience in the Canadian professional hemp sector from field to table to home. Not only does she respect this plant but it is a way of life for her, eating hemp, wearing hemp, building with hemp, speaking about hemp, sharing knowledge and inspiring others to do the same. Cannabis is part of what Anndrea calls her final vocabulary.

Well versed in current affairs, world policy and economics, Albert is very health conscious and enjoys running, hiking, martial arts and breathing techniques.

Andy has teamed up with Portland State University’s, Social Innovation Incubator’s 2013 program, to use entrepreneurial approaches, in creating wide scale solutions to social and environmental issues. He is also in the process of obtaining his Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development at Portland State and looks forward to bringing sustainable materials and design into future developments.
Andy enjoys Oregon summer’s, skiing, hiking, fishing, outdoor activities, learning new things and listening to live music.

Patrique Veille is from Winston Salem, NC and received his B.Sc. in Business Administration, majoring in Management Science and Management, with a focus in Global Supply Chain and Operations Management and Entrepreneurship, from the University of South Carolina in Columbia in 2011. He has served as a consultant for Eaton Electric Corporation, improving their copper forecasting system; co-founded and was Business Manager at Accelerate Solar, a solar energy installation company in Charlotte, NC; and has been on a 3PL’s Solutions Team that is focused on Finished Goods (FG) Distribution for a Fortune 500 company.
In 2009 Patrique co-founded American Hemp, an industrial hemp fiber processing and distribution company, and industry consultant, based out of North Carolina. His love for hemp began in 2005 when he wrote a paper on bio-fuels and discovered the versatility and historical significance of the hemp crop in the US. He has been a member of the Hemp Industries Association (HIA), Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance (CHTA), and the European Industrial Hemp Association (EIHA), and has a goal of revitalising the hemp industry for the economic, environmental, and health benefits to farmers, manufacturers, consumers, and the planet.
He is also a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt through Sonoco and has experience with process modelling and improvement, supply chain management, business systems development, logistical network modelling, customer relationship management (CRM), quality assurance (QA), project and strategic planning, and lean business practices.
Patrique enjoys learning about US history and current events, reading, and finding ways to reestablish the annual harvest of industrial hemp.

Hemp Technologies is a member of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance. Canadian farmers and businesses are interested in the growing business of hemp as it realizes its potential to produce healthy food and environmentally-friendly products, including paper, textiles, bio-composites and sustainable building materials.
